Summer Style Series: Elevate Your Summer Style (Look 2)

Switch up the BASIC. 

Often times we rush to get dressed and that can cause us not to get the full potential from an outfit.  In this series,  I will show you three pieces, and how adding or subtracting items can change the total look of an outfit.

   

(Look 2) Before 

Basic White Tank and Jean Shorts

Subtract: Flats

(Look 2) Elevated Tips:

Add: Kimono (Long or Short)

Add: A thin belt and heels

Keep: Layered necklaces, Large hoop earrings, hair and makeup

The "Before" look is cute it's just BASIC,  
but the "After" look gets you that, girl you look cute feel.

*This look is perfect for a date night or hanging with friends*

Isn't it just beautiful?  I wore this colorful maxi dress over the weekend and felt so glamorous! :) This dress speaks for itself, so no need for a necklace, big earrings or bracelets.  Very sheer, and comfy for a summer date night, wedding or just a night out with friends.

Comb hair over to the side or pin it up with bobby pins
Add: Colorful or bright earrings

Add: A thin belt, shoes and bag in the same color

The "Before" look is cute it's just boring,  
but the "After" look gets you that, girl you look cute feel.

a bottle of Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue

a bottle of StyroGlue

Scrapbook paper

Four 12" x 12" x 5/8" pieces of Styrofoam

The pictures will show you step by step how to make your own "Wall Art" 

 It only took me about 20-25 min to complete each square.  

Add "Foam Mounting Tape" to the back of the styrofoam, and it will stick without any damage to your wall.

Finished Project

It came out really really nice!  This wall needed a little color, and this project was so quick and easy for me to do.  I plan on using fabric for my next, much bigger Styrofoam project.
