How To: Plan For A Vacation



Next week I am going to Jamaica with my hubs and close friends!  I can't tell you how bad I need a vacation.  The hardest thing to me about traveling is finding a nice place to stay.  I have been many places, and have stayed in villas, condos, cabins, and hotels.  Before I choose the perfect place to stay, I always do tons of research.   I wanted to share a site I use EVERYTIME I start searching places to stay, things to do and places to see.  This is NOT a sponsored post nor have I been contacted by this company.  I am giving you my tips on how to make your vacation a great one.

Searching for a hotel (Place to stay)?
Example: Going to Miami. 

  • Click Hotels  
  • Under: Find hotels travelers trust, type in where you plan to go. (You don't have to type in check in/check out) 
  • Click Find Hotels

The results are #'d by ranking.  I only look at the first ten.  
Once I have the names of the hotels, I look at the traveler photos and read traveler reviews ONLY! You can truly trust traveler photos.

Searching for things to do and places to see?  I use tripadvisor for this too.    Example: Things to do or attractions in Miami or Beaches in Florida.  

Whenever I'm on vacation, my motto is YOLO!  I always do something I've never done so that my trip is memorable.

Hey All, I wore this cute, colorful dress to church on Mother's Day. WORKOUT INSPIRATION: My Cardio Tips, Music & Workout Examples for You!

 Spring has come and it’s time for some WORK OUT INSPIRATION!  Have you fell off the wagon?  This post will help inspire you to get YO SEXY BACK! 
  Please keep in mind that I do workout all year round but I still need work! Don’t we all?

First,  

Why are you working out?????   

My main goal: Lose fat, gain muscle, and become more fit. 
My Promise: 
 I WILL DO THIS FOR ME!
I WILL PUT MY HEALTH FIRST!
I WILL BE STRONGER THEN I WAS!

Second,

 How many days a week can you make it to the gym or workout????? 

My schedule allows me to hit the gym 3 days a week, Mon, Tues and Wed.  
It's like a date for my hubs and I! We workout together. 
Tip: You're less likely to cancel if a friend or trainer is waiting on you. 
On Thursday and Sunday, I do fast at home exercises.

Don’t Really Feel Like Working Out Today??
  •  When I really don’t feel like working out, I participate in a class.  Ex: step aerobics, boxing, hip hop aerobics etc. I always run for the front row and so should you! Being in a class environment forces me to perform. 
Need To Burn More Calories?
  • When I need to burn off more calories: I walk on the treadmill.  But.... It’s a trick.  INCLINE!!! While on the treadmill my incline is set to 15 (highest it will go) and my speed is usually anywhere between 3.0-4.0.  In an hour you could burn 700-1200+ calories depending on your weight and age. Tip: Make sure you enter your weight and age info before you get started.   
    Concentrating On Burning Fat?  
    • I am running and lifting weights.  I know… you are probably thinking ugh!  But running can become additive.  I hated it at first… but now when I don’t get to run, I feel bad.   If you need a few ideas on how to get started running Check out (FOLLOW) my Pinterest Page.  
    Diet?
    • (VERY IMPORTANT)  You gain weight in the kitchen… and you also lose weight in the kitchen.  It’s all about portion control. Portion size is very important to my diet.

    Music is what keeps me going while working out.  Pandora has free Workout Stations.  Here are two that I use.
